So I was curious how many others miss parts of the season? I am from Maine and hunt expanded, allowing me to start in September, hunt archery in October and then continue through November in rifle season. I work offshore on an oil rig down in the Gulf of Mexico. I was supposed to have a few days to bow hunt early September, as well as bear hunt. With all the COVID-19 stuff going on they ended up making us go down and quarantine in a hotel for 5 days, now working 28/28 NOT including the 5 extra days down here (35/23). Needless to say I will miss all September bow hunting, I will have roughly 2.5 weeks of mid-October and the last 3 days in November. Anyone else have their hunting season affected by this?!

We are working normal shifts now. Glad to get back to that. I work at a refinery down here in Louisiana. It helps my season because we don't have as much ot that we have to work.

Bummer! I'm glad I retired. Have to make up for lost time for scouting due to health issues starting in July.

Man that sucks. No sir. Bow season starts Sept. 12th here and the changes we had to make due to Covid impacted us mostly during the early Summer. i.e not being able to take vacation and so on. Things are pretty much back to normal now.
