    I hunt a river system that is mainly AG fields with small strip of timber.. Probably very different than your part of the country.

    Awesome morning scouting with my dad! I have him set up in 4 different spots. 2 of the spots are where I saw most of the deer I saw last year, and the other spots are in a grove of white oaks that I found. Plenty of deer sign in the white oak grove as they use it as a staging area to go and eat the green grass in the old farm field on private land. I'm feeling really confident in the spots I set him up in!

    Weather looks great here next week. Low temps, 20 degree drop, high pressure and even some rain. Problem is season opens the following week and the temps go back up and pressure goes back down. Doubt I'll hunt the opening day.
