some cool looking bucks garet... so let's go with Hunterman for Team Captain. Everyone good with Catching Deers then?
    Go for it Hunterman!
Bear season opens here next Tuesday. Hope to crack one to put a dent in the population. I'm not going to be picky as they are a nuisance around here lately. Then I'll try to get out in CT a few times after 9/15 opener. NY opens 10/1... soon!

MA youth hunt is 9/3. I have 2 daughters. My older is 16 now. She has shot a few deer and turkeys so far. She will be on trigger duty for whatever I have patterned best (if anything). My younger daughter is 14. She loves to go and loves to be out with me (even when we don't kill) but she does not want to be the one doing the killing. She just enjoys time outdoors and the hunt.

I’m doing honker control for a local golf course starting Sunday for a week. Only seen a few black ducks so far but it’s early for ducks here.

In WI we have to apply for a preference point each year to hunt bears. Need about 10pts/yrs in order to draw for a good unit. I just hit 10pts this year so I might be chasing my first bear next year. Good luck to you

so many bears around here in our county. I am in Western MA. 10 Min from the NY line.
I have shot a pile and have brought many people out to get one. I used to love it. Then it got old... but there are so many I need to do my part and kill one.
This is my daughter's youth buck from a couple years ago. Dressed 182lb. Largest youth buck in the County that season. This was her 2nd buck. She shot a half rack the season before and a doe each season prior. I think she shot her first deer at 10 years old.

Okay so it seems that captain has been established and for the team name it appears we’re all in agreement for the team name being “Catching Deers” or “Deer Catchers”? Which one do y’all like better?

Alrighty guys, it seems like we all don’t care about what we call ourselves lol. Let’s do this, below I will put 5 possible names that have been thrown out there and which ever one gets the most votes by noon tomorrow will become our name. Just comment the number beside the name you like the most.

    1. Whitetail Warriors
    2. Catchin Deer
    3. Deer Catchers
    4. Doe Down
    5. Freezer Fillers

I myself like #4 since that’s all I seem to kill lol
