Might as well get the ball rolling. Illinois team looks solid. If my luck holds out again this year, we’ll see!
I’m here, we got this. Illinois sucks at pretty much everything else so let’s win this thing. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Oh well. I’m Jim, live just north of 70, 30 miles from Indiana, Cumberland Co. Hunt private here and Clark. Retired last year after 31 years with IDNR. Should have plenty of time to hunt this year.
My local DNR guy who lives right next to the (main) property I hunt in white side county just retired this spring I believe. Palumbo. Was nice having the county officer right next door gona miss it. I also hunt some public land in western Illinois where I live on the river, bout two hours south and west of the main property. Should be a fun year there are some big bucks running around. Names Nick. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I hunt in Northern Illinois on private land. I as lucky enough to shoot two from this property last year and I have seen quite a lot of consistent movement this summer. Can't wait for October and for Illinois to represent!
I live and hunt in Illinois, west central Illinois. Knox, Henry, Mercer, Warren counties. With not many sporting events going on, I should be able to hunt more due to the kids being lest busy. Looking forward to the season.
kurtg2020--I hunt in Hancock County during shotgun season, near Carthage. What town/towns do you hunt in?
How many on teams? Is this a new format for the hunting teams? I might have to sign up if this is all you have. I used to get in on the competition, but life got in the way of my computer time for a couple years. Just now getting back into the forums
Oh yeah, and back to my original post... Is this 'Team Illini' thing an official thing? Or just seeing who is all from around each other? Can I get in on this stuff?
Had to sign up at some point, not real clear on the rules. Kinda FUBAR right now. Three biggest deer shot by state members. Heck, I’m good with ya coming on! This bunch is unresponsive. I mainly hunt private in Cumberland, Clark and Crawford counties. Worked up around Shelbyville and know several landowners, just never needed to hunt it.
Well, looks like things got a little bass ackwards. I had asked to be removed before teams were picked, didn't feel like I could do 2 teams and live from the stand. Looks like it wasn't seen in time I can't commit to being active in this thread, but I will enter a kill if I get one. I'll try to check in a bit from time to time.
