I've never killed a great big one. I've killed 2 in TN and 2 in KY. 116-129"

I was hunting 2 bucks that were close to 150 and they vanished 6 days before my hunt started.

My buddy let me hunt his farm the last evening.

Those big boys have a way of going under ground on you right before you sit on them!
Seen it so many times over the years..

Once again Ben congrats on a fine deer!

Pulled a couple cards today that I placed over some mock scrapes I built back in April. Results were promising in the sense that they are being used. No bonus pics of shooter bucks. I will be placing more cameras out over the next week or so. I'm hoping to get dialed in for at least a doe for the OH opener Sept 26.

This is the walls of my man cave with some others I have taken over the years. Some are gun kills mostly bow kills.

Those are some nice bucks Tony. Did you take all of those locally?

Thanks Dan...Yep... most came from the family farm or surrounding county properties(Jennings & Bartholomew)

I have a couple more shoulder mount 8pt's hanging in the garage that didn't make the cut for the house.

So for the last several years I have been thinking about hosting an out of state member from my team on a hunt in Indiana.

What I mean by hosting is a place to stay, food and good company. You get here with your gear and a tag, and I'll run yer butt up a tree and feed ya!

You can deer hunt for 3 days on state and private ground. Good ground!

Indiana has a non resident tag called a bundle that allows you to take 2 does and a buck for $295 or a single tag either sex for $150 archery...

Also, the NR bundle license has an added bonus in that it is good with any weapon from 10-1 till 1.5.2021. So it could also be used for a return hunt if possible.

My only rule would be nothing smaller than 100 inch buck on my lease ground. I will also allow a doe to be taken on the lease if so desired. State ground is all you can get :)

I'll be hunting with you in the evening Friday and Saturday.. Most likely I'll be putting you in a ladder stand or area you can hang a stand in the evenings... No sweat.. I got a UTV to haul you where you need to be. Curbside service LOL!

Past experience has shown me that the big boys are up walking the week before Halloween. These should be good buck sighting days.

So..... Any of you guys have interest in this?

That’s a very generous offer Tony. Hopefully someone will be able to take advantage of it.

I took the 2 year old to our neighborhood pond while the wife and 5 year old went to soccer. He's a beast with his little Snoopy pole!
