This is what my season looked like last year. Very good year for happy. Shot a doe on opening morning, got my buck on 3rd day of the season then hunted the rest of the season to fill last doe tag on the last evening of the season. The buck was a complete surprise. No pics or previous sightings. He just magically appeared.

Longdraw is here. Here is just outside Chicago, didn’t get an invite to any bowhunting last year and didn’t have any land access, but I found a farm in central IL with deer just waiting for me. I’ve been overworked this summer but have lots of time off this fall. My 6’8” frame and long arms = a Longdraw. I’m planning (praying) to put a mature buck down this year. Working on a house today doing some patch and repair of exterior trim and had a small group of deer go by in the yard. 2 descent bucks in the group. According to the rules, you have to give them two weeks to check in. Justin is going to (or already has) sent an e-mail to every member letting them know that the teams are posted.
