Here are some ideas that I had while laying around on shift. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
So funny this comes up. I told her in January we was done trying for awhile. Then all the sudden she tells me we were pregnant. It is our second.
Alright guys, looking for help! I hunted this north woods part of last season, seemed the deer always made it to me right as I was running out of shooting light. (My 1st stand is located near the eastern trail cam on map). So my goal was to figure out where they are staging for this season. Made a map to kinda show what my findings have been. I recently got access to part of the south section of woods. Did some scouting tonight and found a heavily tore up section of corn and trail leading between the beans and corn back towards the bedding in the south section. I followed it back into section #1 which wasn't too thick(nice big trees surrounded by lots of small saplings). Definite trails leading further south across the creek and into the thick block of timber. I'm assuming the bedding is in the big block of timber. I think they are staging in #1, feeding across the field towards the north woods. Where should I be thinking of setting up? Any ideas? Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
Well congrats. Ill be good for season just wont be 100% hunting every chance this year. But can also use baby as getting 2 to 3 weeks late october November off.
Team name suggestion based upon my earlier reference to the 11-gun salute: The Brigadier Booners or The Booner Brigade.
I live in hill country so this is alittle out of my wheel house. But i’d wait for the right day and push right up on that bedding and try to catch them on the return to bed in early morning.
Checking in from MT. T minus 5 days till archery opener. Me, my wife and kids will be hitting it hard this year to fill the freezer.
Checking in from Ohio. Season opens 9/26 here in Ohio and also will be traveling to Oklahoma the week of 10/26 to hunt their muzzleloader season, but contemplating buying an archery tag instead. I've gone 2 for 3 the last 3 seasons there with a muzzleloader. Wanting to change it up a bit.
