    Hey, all!

Looking at a PSE Brute X for a family member. Seems to have good reviews, but does anyone have any opinions on this bow? Is it good?

Mathews is more my arena, so I am not as familiar with PSE.

    Thanks!

I will never recommend or state what bow someone should shoot. In today's compound world there are so many incredible options for any price range and every single one is going to feel different to every single shooter.

My only advice is choose a price range for the bare bow only after knowing what you want to spend on the rest of the stuff (rest, sight, quiver and such).

Shoot EVERY bow you can inside your price range, and choose the one you liked the best.

Price range is the only restraint I think folks should place on their choice.

Personally, I would pass and find something different in that price range. Never was a fan of any single cam and their funky nock travel.

I bet between Ebay and AT, one can find a flagship bow that was made in the last 4 years for about 250 to 300 bucks. Hell I don't think there is enough improvement from bows in the 2012 to present range
