Pics will be on the scorecard. Out hunting opening morning with my girlfriend and we drove by a couple forky bucks after jumping the bigger one up a cliff. 27 yards, heart and lungs and ran about 30 yards and flopped from where he was shot. Shot just after 7 this morning. Got him home and hung in the shop, but when we came back, it was way too hot so we quartered him and got him to the butcher. I'm waiting for a taxidermist to call back so I can Euro mount him in velvet. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
No fake profile here, Holmes. I used to be pretty active, but paramedic school and a divorce kinda threw me for a loop. This is only the second year I've been back hunting since my divorce. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Did you get your two different pics with the deer your bow and yourself? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
it's more a jab aimed at M4C than anything to do with you. Sorry to say though; I'm pretty sure you can't enter a kill from August. Think it has to be Sept 1 - Jan 31.
Yeah. And video of the recovery. My girlfriend was filming and didn't want to spook the deer so we only have film of me shooting. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Seems like I remember your screen name from a while back. Two things: Congratulations on an early season kill, and it's totally unfair that you get to hunt already.
Looking at my syllabus for my classes this fall, I don't think I'm going to have much free time for hunting. I think I need to remove my name from the contest.
Oh, BS- you will be taking remote classes since all the ninnies are scareds of the COVIDs. at least until Nov. 4. Plenty of time to kill a deer.
