I’m new to bow hunting and was wondering if anyone has broad head suggestions right how I’m looking at hellrazor broad heads or Annihilator broad heads but I want some opinions. Thanks
Last year I shot G5 Montec 125’s with good results. The year before was Muzzy Trocar. This year I’m shooting Magnus Stinger 2 blade and liking them so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Man where do you start. There are so many suggestions or things to talk about. The Hellrazor is basically the Montec from G5. Easy to sharpen but I would suggest the Montec CS (carbon steel) just because I've shot them before and had them for years. Durable fixed blade and they can take a pounding. Always shot perfectly straight for me as well. Harvested several turkey and deer with them. If you're looking for mechanical, I'd recommend NAP. I've used the Killzone, Killzone max and Spitfire Double Cross. They've all preformed well. Spitfire XXX have been popular on the BHOD show for years and have put a lot of deer in the back of trucks over the years. Ultimately you just have to find something you like and shoots well for you. Best of luck!
Slick Trick. Vipertrick, standard or magnum will work great with your set up. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
With that combination I definitely would stay away from mechanicals. Any reliable fixed head should get you through. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
At 40 lbs and short draw, i would definitely stick with the cut on contact heads, mechanical wont work great with that draw weight. I am shooting Magnus buzzcut's this year. but you can go with a Muzzy, they have been around for along time and i know alot of people who always shoot Muzzy's with great results, but go with a fixed blade cut on contact head and you should be fine
