I once made this thread in a year contest section, but in an effort to be able to recall it easier starting one in the general section.

After years of partaking in the forum's contest it always is interesting to me to see the fortunate guys/gals that hit the 200 point club...or the 225 (ONLY 6 times done)...or the EXTREMELY rare 250 point club, which ONLY one person has accomplished: MNpurple with 279 1/8 in 2014.

(FTR...I've removed Boonerville from this, IMO I question anything accomplished by him and refuse to include him.)

Pretty much, keep an eye out for the repeat members below....your team is off to great start if one of them shows up on yours!

To be fair many Booners have fallen to folks that never added that second deer in the contest to join the 200 point club. However, including photos would have been an INSANE chore to do.

If one is curious you can still find the contests of old in the vault section.

Barely missed my back to back in 2017 and didn't kill a 2nd last year or could have been 2 times for me. I let too many walk early and regret it after the rut.

My biggest limiting factor is not hunting in October much anymore. I take a week and every weekend off in November so generally give work all the time they want in October. By the time I do make it out the prerut is in full swing and I say I will, but never can, release one on a doe when the mature bucks start slipping up.

I'm entering two deer this year, I hope, maybe......

Nope. I was only in one contest, last year. I am not up to speed on all the rules...so I was wondering how that 200 was tabulated

Who is this mythical ihunt. 4 years in a row is impressive. This will be the year I start a streak of at least one year.

Yup the one buck allowed and then a second deer now can be either sex but only worth 50 points.

Cole is his real name, grew tired of the forum and lost some access to a few of his Kansas hunts. Good guy. Last I knew he is happily married and doesn't hunt as much at least for whitetails as he used to. Still lives in Kansas also last I heard.

Looking at this reminds me I haven't shot a doe since the one listed here in 2009. No plans to either

Old ihunt was on a mission for those 4 years!

I would have broken 250 in 2016 if I didn't shoot that smaller buck first, but all well. It's very rare for me to ever see a buck over 150", maybe 3 or 4 in the last 25 years. I do dream of a 150" 8 pt some day!
