Yeah, I was that guy anytime I had the Windsor. My friend, his sister and her ex fiance still mad at a fella and they're the one that brought the bottle. I used to hit a level of drunk with that stuff that made me a smooth talking charmer one minute and if you say one more thing I might sock you the next minute. Lucky if I stayed clothed kinda drunk. Not good.
Blantons is my preference. Expensive and dang hard to find. Buffalo trace makes it btw and I like the namesake bourbon as well. Ive tried lots of scotch but just can't do it. The peaty ones taste like a mouth full of liquid dirt to me. I like 100 proof knob creek when I'm just wanting to sip a little. Neat is fine but I'll do no more than 2 cubes of ice to change up the flavor now and then. Higher proof bourbons dont split my wig the next morning like the cut stuff. Four Roses (either single barrel or yellow label), Jefferson's Ocean (depending on the Voyage, # 14 was good,# 17-not so much)Elmer T. Lee if I can find it. I have a bottle of Blanton's and Caribou Creek that I will open some day(or sell). I also have all 8 bottles in the Blanton's Derby Collection I might sell one day if I can find the right buyer. As far as Rye goes, i prefer a Rossville Union over most. I'll probably finish a Whistle-Pig 100% Rye tonight, not bad either. My SIL is manager at one of our local stores and I go with her to the shows and tastings, she's not much of a connoisseur and uses me a guinea -pig. It's a pretty sweet gig if you can get it.

Same here, except for the vodka. I turn into a total A-hole when I drink liquor. I stick to what I love, what most you all call weasel piss,,, Bud Light. Works for me!
When I did drink whiskey it was usually oh man. I’ll just slug some drain-o if my self respect sinks that low. . Joking I’ve only had cheap bad stuff and tanqueray. I can handle the tanqueray but it has to have a lot of squirt mixed with it. Not a big fan though. Definitely hope I never wake up with an empty bottle of Beefeaters by my side ever again
I like IPAs too... Definately enjoy the piney and bitter notes. All in moderation. Course, the Irish Whiskey literally was broken out grave side of my (1st generation) Irish relatives (grandmother / great aunt).
Let’s talk gin! Whiskey makes me violent. Scotch is only for a special occasion and then it will be glenlivet.
Capt Morgan and diet coke. is there anything else to drink? I do like beer. Ultra, Bud Light, Corona Light. Coors Light. I can drink them all. Not big on craft beer. Don't care for bourbon much. now, Vodka and sprite....that's a damn good one
