I do hereby submit that regardless of how my season transpires and no matter what else may occur in this bizarre year, so dubbed 2020, that I will not post a political post in any of the contest threads or Live From the Stand thread.

They will be my escape, not my crutch.

Anyone here ever dealt with tennis elbow?

Mine just seems to be getting worse and worse regardless of what I try. Have a compression sleeve on the way, hoping that helps better than the aircast type wrap around.

Haven't really read up on it and archery, but cannot imagine it would feel good to draw a bow back, let alone hold for a shot angle.

I have been dealing with that for years. It comes and goes depending on what I’m doing to aggravate it and make it flare up. I can’t say it ever really bothered me shooting my bow though. If I know I’m going to be doing something that will make it act up I wear a compression band to help but only thing that makes it go away is not using it. Rest !! My doctor had given me something for it before but really didn’t work. Not sure what it was. He did tell me that eating peppers will help so I’ve been eating 5-6 bell peppers a week and gotta say it really does seem to be less frequently that I notice it bothering me. Weird!!its still there waiting to flair up but a good vacation is the best way to relieve it. Drink with opposite hand.

Haha! I agree about 95% of what CA government does is stupid. However there are a few things we don't do with hunting which may surprise you.

    1. We don't have to by tags for turkey. Simply an extra $8 and you can harvest up to 5 birds a year. Well worth the money if you ask me.
    2. We have only 2 deer seasons: early archery and general season. Hunt with a gun or rifle during general season, take your pick.
    3. During the general season, you don't have to wear orange. Probably because the CA liberals don't care if hunters shoot each other. Just don't let cops shot people, then there's a problem.

Not sure why we've never adopted wearing orange during rifle season as so many other states have. But then trying to make common sense of other hunting laws would put most people in a comma.

The way we did it before if memory serves was an average of some kind....wonder if the vault still holds that contest......may go scratching around for it.

Just took spot 104 and what a flippin year gents. Besides all the chaos and coronas I can't wait til October comes!!!! Just got food plots rolling (not planted yet just tilled waiting on seed) Chicory last year came back but the animals tore it up and the weeds took it over. Got good pics of twins, triplets and decent velvets showing up. Ty good to see you on the thread along with the rest of The Sweet Sixtine from last season, was an honor to hunt with you all no doubt! Gonna be a good year in the trees folks so get ready to get ready!!!

For people who hunt multiple states, how would that work? Just keep it in the state you claim residency?

I asked and he said state you're licensed/kill was made. Regardless of residency.

Hmm, makes it rough on a team format.

not really- just pick your state now. I hunt in 3 states most every year.
Most likely chance at a big buck for me is WI. So I picked WI. I kill a booner in MI (hahahahahaha) then I don't get to enter the kill in the contest.
I imagine the rules will include a pic of your punched tag proving you did the deed in the right state.

Have in the past. Rest, Ice, ibuprophen. If real bad or persists for more than about 4 weeks, steroid shot.
