I watch the game and enjoyed it, life’s too short to get all fired up over things I cannot control. Next week I’ll enjoy a game or two of NBA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
un-disliked. I reserve the dislikes for egregious lies and/or intentional ignorance; neither of which applied to your post. A difference of opinion does not merit a dislike...at least a permanent one
I watched a couple games so far. Honestly I think it sucks with no one in the stands. I also think the start with man on second rule in extra innings is freaking stupid. They should have cancelled the season at this point.
I'm done with Pro Sports and all the idiot wokesters that have ruined the game (s) ... I played baseball all thru Little League, Babe Ruth and High School ball ... played in a fast pitch mens league for quite a few years up until several years back.. I'll play baseball, but wont watch it any longer... .... I gave up on football after Kaperprick started his crap and the owners caved in, as for the NBA, pffft, been done with them when Jordan retired .... never was a Hockey fan .... I wont miss one second of any of the pro foolishness ..
Well so much for a little normalcy and for sports staring back up. The Marlins just cancelled their home opener because of a bunch of players and coaches testing positive. Out of the major sports baseball can be played somewhat social distancing. Good luck NFL! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Marlins home opener canceled tonight because too many players tested positive and they didn't have time to get other players ready to play. What a **** show.
Unless you have players leaving the bubble and go to a strip joint. See Lou Williams from the LA Clippers. He went there for the chicken wings so there’s that. Haha! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
saw something where some broadcasts are grafting CGI fans into the stands; and you can even pay to be one of the faces. So they want you to pay to watch yourself on TV. Jesus crimeny we are a vain society. Honestly; what's the point in actually having real players? NASCAR already ran a simulated season. Why can't and won't the rest of the pro leagues? With ridiculously high ticket and concession prices, political agenda creep and influence, free agency, big league egos, salary caps, piss-poor general managers, and general nonsense; the average fan is already tuning out pro sports in general. Attendance has been dwindling in many if not most markets for years.
I used to be of the opinion when any professional league had lock outs, hold outs or weren't playing for whatever reason to just say screw them. If professional sports fell off the face of the earth, the world would keep spinning. Since we've had the COVID crap and sports were put on hold my opinion has changed and my normal life had a huge void. I'm happy sports are back in any perspective and have watched everything to include sports I normally don't watch. I'm happy my Giants split their series with the Dodgers but the season overall still remains extremely interesting with only 60 games in the season. I think the all playoff hockey style for a season will be very interesting and probably fairly intense. With every game meaning so much, I expect it to be very entertaining. Football who knows. They will most likely have the best shot at a full season but it still remains to be seen what COVID does starting in the fall. The only think I'm certain of is this is either a sports year to remember, or completely forget.
You know the players that have hold outs or strikes in leagues it is all about the athletes getting 50% of the revenue in salaries. People that complain about getting millions to play a game, they generate for more revenue than they get in salary. People pay to see the players not the owners and refs.
I just want to go on the record that I know that if there is a baseball post season the Twins will get done by the Yankees...again. You can not hit your way to good pitching.
