He was on Tucker tonight; said he expects to be indicted soon.
I wonder how many Oath Keepers are in St. Louis?

The state of Michigan said my refund was exactly 1.00 to much and I owe them 1.00 dollar and need to send an amended return .

So I thought what would dnoddles do.

    Option 1.

Write them a check for 1.10 and make them send a refund check to me for 10 cents

    Option 2

    Send them 100 pennies.

first of all; that made me laugh really hard and I appreciate it. Except you continue to butcher my name so now I am figuring it's intentional. My feelings are officially Hurt.

Secondly and ironically; my wife officially worked half this year in MI and the other half in IL- she ended up getting a refund from MI and owing IL. Go figure.

Lastly; I am guessing they would just give you the option to apply the 10 cent "overpayment" to next year. I had a $10 refund coming to me in Indiana once and that was the option they gave me. Being just out of college and broke; I said F that send me the check. That's beer money.

It’s spell autocorrect, I am about to pay the largest amount of taxes for federal on the 15th also, so I am a bit chippy tonight.

Free archery targets. Cut into 24” x 18” pieces, stack them up, & put a piece of plywood on the top and bottom. Cut your plywood a little longer than the carpet squares so you can drill a couple holes on each side and put some all-thread rod through them so you can tighten it down to compress the carpet. Put some aiming marks on there with a rattle can and you’re good to go. It’ll stop arrows from any compound or crossbow you can buy, they’ll last longer than any store bought target, and pulling arrows is a breeze, they slide right out like they were just stuck in there by hand.

Germ would you rather invest in yourself or the Gov't? There are ways to mitigate writing a large tax check.

this is the second year in a row we've owed...sucks but it is what it is. Rather have my own money all year.
It's 100% due to SALT caps. If I lived/worked in Indiana we would be getting a small refund. Instead we're writing 5-figure checks.

At least the houses I was looking at over the state line last year are stickering at around $50k+ more this year and my current estimated property value is down 10%. So I have that going for me.

I thought I had the whole deduction thing dialed with a w4 tweak last year...

Then worked in like 4 different states (refunds from some and due to others) last year with different tax rates and sold some investments to pay off the house.

Like they say, 'death and taxes'.

I always pay, due to investments. 2019 it's a double edge sword. I made more in the market than my financial gal and I anticipated.

Tax lady tells me I made $10,000 more last year in taxable income like it was a bad thing.

Nothing like the boss inviting you to a one hour meeting 30 minutes into it for something you have no clue about, just a slide deck and an email for "some background".
