A bunch of woke people did that at my college. We were the Tribe and sometimes called the Indians. People started complaining and whining about how it was racist. Come to find out that the college helped educate many Indians of the area. Free of charge.
Mascot in high school was the Red Men. 10 years ago for the all school reunion a guy was selling the old Monticello Red Men T shirts, he sold out rapidly.

I wish part of the news conference would be someone not connected to the police saying, "If you live in the drug world, be prepared to die in the drug world.....your life can end in an instant when you are operating in that realm"
