A guy in our group came home where he worked at a Texas plant with positive tests... he got tested last week and was negative.

    Not worried one bit.

    OPEN AMERICA!

    More tests = More cases.

What happened to all the deaths the media screamed at us the first month and a half.

If everyone thought the last few months couldnt get any worse, we havent seen jack squat yet with this political race. Old dark secrets are going to come out in the weeks and days leading up to voting. Large sums of money are being moved out of banks as we speak and hidden in homes, washed in casinos, and will be ready for people to pay other people off in cash.

It's been that way the whole time. At least everywhere I've been in west central part of state. Been one place that actually required mask and that was DMV. Lady that stopped me at door didnt appreciate it when I questioned why half the ppl inside didn't have them on or they had them around their neck. Other than that don't really see them much besides from the ppl that work in th stores, but they only pull them up when someone is right in front of them.

But you're correct, most don't gaf what the governor mandated.

I'm betting most people are simply tired of hearing the word covid and just want to live their lives. I was shocked of the amount of reactions I got when I told people I was in contact with that I was positive. The overwhelming reaction was generally people would rather just get it and get out overwith.

So that being said, it's a personal choice, of the ton of research I've done the last few days - the majority of cases have mild or no symptoms at all. So far I've had a mild fever for a few hours and nothing since.

To be honest even after all this blows over I am still social distancing.

We are bowhunters, social distancing is our preferred MO. Unless, there is a bowhunting get together.

My BIL bought me a shirt for my birthday that has an outline pic of a bowhunter at full draw leaning over to shoot from a tree stand. It says "social distancing expert" on it.
I think I speak for most of us in saying I'd rather be in the woods hunting then at a social gathering of any kind.

Growing up in a small farming community, most of the guys I knew that were known for being bow hunters were Lone Wolfs. As I grew older I understood that appeal. Sounds like a great shirt!

During my trip to Northern MI last weekend just about every business had a "face covering required" sign on the front door - with nobody wearing masks inside. This included the employees.

The only people I saw wearing masks while working were a pair of girls serving ice cream to people outside.

Meh, the bubonic plague has been done already.

In all seriousness, the are a couple dozen cases in the US (mostly SW) every year. Rodents and fleas...

    I get your point
That said my experience, I'm always social distancing. Rarely around anyone usually around family only. I'm cheap and worked in restuants, so rarely eat out. I've never liked going to movie theaters and hit big box just 2x's a year. So I am rarely exposed to most things. I believe it is why any time someone in hubby's crew gets sick. He brings it home to me. He never gets sick and my butt gets kicked. When I worked around large groups ,when the kids were in school I got sick less or not as severe.
