Just got to test this brand new head by Kudu, the Contour PLUS. Check it out and share your thoughts about it:

Man, between the original Contour video and this, I am seriously looking at Kudu broadheads for next broadheads.
You are looking at like $17 a broadhead before shipping. Pretty expensive. But if they are durable and are easily sharpened then maybe that is ok.
Seems like four bladed single bevel head is somewhat counterintuitive. That said it performed very well, same as double bevel would. I always felt that a leading main blade with set back blenders where the most consistent and predictable broadhead design for me, best combination of penetration and cutting surface. So with that in mind this head doesn't suprise me at all.
Were you able to specificy a left wing or right wing bevel when you ordered? I looked on the website but couldn't find specifying bevel as an option.
I only use right. Not sure why anyone would want a left bevel with a screw in head, unless they use glue as well. They’ll unscrew on impact and the speed you may pick up off certain bows is so minimal. Very few broadhead manufacturers off left bevels for screw in models. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
honest if stupid question- if you have a RH bevel am I correct you want a R helical (assuming you want a helical at all) ?
That is correct. However, before selecting a bevel direction, make sure your arrows are fletched the same direction as the natural spin out of the bow. My arrows spin left from the bow so I fletch my arrows with a slight left offset. I need a left wing bevel in a single bevel broadhead.
Interesting, my arrows spin left out of my bow so I fletch with a left offset and bought left wing bevel broadheads to match. I have not had any issues with the broadheads coming loose.
Ok that’s good. Just make sure they are in there tight cause there is a lot of rotational force that can both unscrew them and also rob you of the rotational force of the broadhead in so doing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
