Are you guys seeing any fawns yet? One crossed the road with its momma while I was headed to work. I thought they didn’t usually drop until may-early June.

All the does I've seen have been fat and moving slow. No fawns seen yet.

Anybody that says that they know what a deer will do and when they will do it is a liar.

I noticed a few does the other day that had shed that winter weight and one was hanging close to a nice thick patch of grass, I can only assume she may have dropped.

Haven't seen any new fawns just yet, but had a momma doe in the yard yesterday that looked like she was ready to pop any day now.

Last two nights deer sightings way down just the 2 fawns from last year. Last year I saw a fawn the earliest I have ever seen based on what I am seeing fawns coming early again this year too. I believe the is rut change, I know I know photo period is a controlling factor but when you see fawns and do the math the does are are getting bred earlier.

I have seen a few dead along the highway the last week or so. I have one picture of fawns on the camera so far.

Interesting photo I saw today. It took me a few seconds to spot this fawn. It’s amazing how well they hide! A neighbor sent it to me, I don’t know if it’s his or just a random internet pic.

AS of my last card pull, most of them were still carrying their fawns. Had a huge labrador retriever with a fawn in his mouth in one pic.
