Not a mechanical fan but I’d take this over a Rage anyday. Thanks

What is it you don’t like about Rage? Not disagreeing with you, just curious.

To me rage broadheads seem noisy in flight.

Rage's main blades are very weak. Will snap inside an animal even without hitting bone.

I think they are paper thin cheaply made not only the blades but construction. Most mechanicals have too thin a blade for my hunting. Majority of the time I’m crashing shields and shoulders of 200+ pound boar hog shields trying to stick the heart that is buried there. Entering behind a rib is just too much fuss. I just gotta crash thru, poke a hole thru and if it doesn’t paralyze him right then and there, get a blood trail I can follow up on.

Yeah, I’ve rarely tested a rage without it experiencing significant damage. I know they’ve killed a lot of critters, but there are much better choices.

For shooting whitetails, Rage and other mechanicals are fine.

I use heavy COC heads for hogs on FMJ arrows.

Believe it or not, I’ve been using the discontinued Carbon Express Pile Driver 150 grain head with outstanding results !

This is saving me major money from the German Kinetics Silver Flames that are about $25 per head while Carbon Express cost me $20 for 3. Lol
