I paid it forward big time with the engagement ring; but after almost 5 years I think I have pulled ahead...until I buy her this Rollie next month for our 5-year.

That should get me another 5 years and maybe a couple elk trips.

Cant get thru one. So there is no 2nd.

But this did inspire me to go the the local brew pub and get a growler of my favorite beer-Scotish Ale.

They have started to bottle some of their brews. Wish they would get to this one. I have a couple grill/smoker events planned while camping this summer. This beer would be awesome for that.

I used to drink a lot of McEwan's Scotch Ale...something like 7 or 8 percent. It was also tasty.

My son starts his big time treatment in 2 hrs. Port in his chest. Poor kid is tough as hell. If he can improve with this it will be the best thing that has ever happened in my life.

First grandchild born on our 30th anniversary.

Now I'm gonna be in bigger trouble if I miss one of them.

I did learn a few things along the way.

I told her when the Sunday school teacher mentions 'longsuffering' next I'm gonna say I know something about that, been married for 30 years.

When is the time horizon you'll know this therapy/treatment is helping?

He will be done with plasmapheresis next Fri. A couple weeks later he will have another round or two of IVIG to bolster his immune system. He has rogue antibodies damaging his body and inflaming his brain as a result. The plasmapheresis should quiet the antibodies and then another quick couple rounds of IVIG should bolster his immune system. The doctor said he has had great results with this system. We are just worried he was afflicted so long that long term damage has been done.
