    as in sh(m)ow?

schmo is how I've always seen it spelled. Think it's Yiddish.

I just saw "hmoo" getting royally effed and that picture of Elton popped into my head....I am messed up sometimes.

People that pull up to a gas pump and walk into the convenience store to buy something with no intentions of getting gas. Meanwhile people are waiting for a gas pump and are circling the pumps area and causing a small version of gridlock because that lazy jackass won’t park where he’s supposed to.

When I walk in he is having chit chat session with a convenience store clerk instead of purchasing his coffee and getting his damn truck away from the gas pumps for people to use that actually want gas!

I’m not a lawn snob by any means. I live in the city and I have a neighbor that put up a chain link fence. Would it kill them to once every couple of weeks run a weed trimmer at the base of that fence? I mow up to the edge of that fence but I refuse to use my trimmer to maintain around HIS fence. If I use my trimmer I’ll go thru a lot of trimmer line as it gets eaten by that link fence.

    Lol
rr on a very tight spray right at base of fence. Gives the hint and takes care of issue with minimal visual effect.

I would be spraying on his lawn at that point. He would take issue with that. It would be totally visual too as 12”-18” tall grass and weeds that is intertwined in his chain link fence starts turning brown.

Did I mention he’s not a very friendly neighbor?

I do this every year. My neighbor’s yard is overgrown was shrubbery six feet high. They had it professionally taken down last year and didn’t kill it with round up. It is six feet high again. I do not care what they think of me spraying on their side of the fence. My yard is not turning into a jungle.

I had a nieghbor like that but it was with their blk walnut tree. I asked politely for them to trim Back branches hanging way over my yard dropping massive amounts of hauls. Nothing, then I explained I was giving notice for them to remove said limbs, nothing. Then I cut them. She flipped out!, got threatening. Then I called our lawyer and he sent her a letter. Long and short. She left husband and kids. He thanked me ,sold the house to a guy we got along with great!.
Some times you need to shake things up! LOL

Yea I'd be spraying it too. And whatever got in neighbors yard would be too bad for them.

Are your neighbors not required by code to maintain the fence line? Around here, we are not permitted to put the fence on the property line. It must have a setback that allows the fence owner to maintain both sides of the fence.

If they dif not, I personally would pick the most advantageous wind direction and spray as much round up as i could.

And if i were a really old timer, it would be Spike. Nothing would grow for at least 2 years.

    FIFY....

As far as the average city folks are concerned, that roaring 3' flame is about as far as you can get on the "don't f**k with the crazy neighbor, he's got a flamethrower" scale without crossing over to the "we better call the cops" scale.

What is with people, prelisting is out on the house the for sale sign is going up today. Had a few vehicles drive down the driveway yesterday evening. The driveway is close to a half mile long you don't drive that far by accident. I may have to put up another sign that says if you do not have an appointment do not enter.
