O'Reilly auto parts. Can't meet a 4 pm delivery on Saturday, says sorry see ya tomorrow. Mmk. Today is tomorrow. Wrong part by a mile, so see ya tomorrow. Apparently selling 6 deep cell 6 volt batteries rounding out to 640 bucks really is just too dang difficult. Plus my time to make the trip. All the way mad at mullet boy who took the brunt of my discontent. Got a discount in those blonde curls there buddy? Get in your 86 camaro and go get my batteries while jamming some WAM, ya jackwagon...

So go to the MIL grave with the family to spring clean and spruce it up for the summer. I don't know who or why this tradition started putting coins on the gravestone, but it needs to stop. I spent two hours scrubbing the stone with a toothbrush to get the statins out of the granite stone. Being it pissed my wife off I had to hear about it another two hours.

Different meaning for each coin for military purposes but idk why would for anyone else. What they told us over in Normandy anyway when visited there and they took us on tour.

this was about to be a major rant; but turns out it's actually an-anti rant:

This AM, I opened the dryer to find this sitting in the bottom

Sandisk CRUZER 2MB thumb drive...I use it for a lot of stuff; most recently it has all my contractor bids, plans, and also a bunch of tax documents.

a string of expletives followed. I figured it was dead and all data lost after having gone through not only the wash but also the dryer.

However, lo and behold I plug it in to the laptop and it not only powered on but everything was intact!

Pretty awesome for a $15 4 year old thumbdrive

Well, I actually enjoyed going to work, I loved Ann Arbor to work in. Great food and music in the park during the summer for lunches. Walking around campus for some exercise was all part of the fun. At work we got fed twice a week, massages twice a month and we had a kegger that once it 4:00 one could have a nice craft cold one.

Our office will remain closed for the rest of the year, I'll be working from home. Time to build an office downstairs I guess.

Manufacturers that make their product such that the instructions defy common sense.

Case in point: I bought a gas pole pruner. Based on all the other small engine type things, line trimmer etc. Push the primer bulb, the choke on setting 1, pull yada yada, put lever to setting 2, yada yada, let engine warm yada yada, more lever to setting 3 and go to work. Logical right?

These idiots have the carb set for setting 3 to be the full choke and 1 the run setting.

Ppl that stop in the line of ppl to get out of a store. It's single file and Social Distancing and you think stopping to talk is a good idea?
