Finally finished my first project at the house since our work was shut down. I’m sure others are working on things as well. Let’s see what’s going on.

Remodeled the last room in the house except for kitchen. That will have to wait for another time here’s a few before and after pics of my sons bedroom.

Looks great Happy! You custom build all those drawers? If so you really put alot of work into it! Now time to build that custom pedestal base!

I'm still working ever second I can, but will probably be out of work in 2 weeks. My be I can start some of my own projects then.

    Thanks !!
All custom built drawers and cabinets. Mostly done with materials I scrounged from my actual job that I couldn’t bring myself to throw out. I was getting quite a stockpile but mostly gone now. It was pretty much a full time thing for the past 2 weeks. Finished just in time. I was just informed that my employer got a exemption and I have to go back to work on Monday to complete at least a 2 week job then we will see where things are at for the other 2 projects I was running.
Kinda sucks I had a few other things in my list to get done at home but will be nice to have a real paycheck again.

Take the work when you can. The next couple months are going to be interesting. If it keeps going like it is, I may be a full time stay at home dad. It's so hard for me these days to work on my own house. I get burned out from work and don't feel like working on my own. But starting to get the itch again. I need to build a built in shelves for wife's closet and I picked all free left over cabinets to build my office. Same as you I've been scrounging materials for the last year to finish my office.

That looks awesome and puts mine to shame! I've sanded and painted our kitchen cabinets, although now the walls need painting because its too close in color, tiled the backsplash, built a wooden closet organizer for my son's room and currently working on my daughter's closet organizer. My wife seems to keep coming up with projects I didn't even know we needed but it beats trying to teach the youngins their school lessons like she has to do :). 20200404_152401.jpg 20200404_152408.jpg 20200405_174801.jpg

I thought about painting my kitchen cabinets as well but honestly they are beyond hope. Some of the worst and cheapest cabinets I have ever seen. It just seems like it would be a waist of my time. But it is amazing what a change in color and a nice backsplash will do. Looks great!!

I've swept my garage at least 30 times this week out of boredom.

    That looks awesome!

While not as impressive, I did manage to get our backsplash done, although I finished all of our trim in the house just before work closed this winter.

Bought an ice house about a month ago and have gutted it completely and have been rebuilding since. Plan on putting the floor in tonight and hopefully have a big day on Saturday to get the walls built back up.

No quarantine projects here. Every project I have was here before the quarantine. If I can get them all done in a timely manner it will be a miracle.

We have a 20 yard dumpster being delivered, we have been threatening to do it for a while. Big purge.

Spent this sunny day doing pond maintenance. With the help of my propane torch I got the lakes kid friendly again! Grand kids will be happy.

I would love to do that as well but my wife decided she wants to have a yard sale if this crap ever ends. If I had to guess half the crap won’t be sold at which point I will be given permission to throw out or lug things to a donation center somewhere. I guess I just don’t understand putting in all the work prepping for a yard sale to make 50$ or whatever

Project #2 almost done. Finishing touch to my sons bedroom Reno. A little bit of sanding and some finish and it will be done then it’s onto making the pedestal for my deer mount. Just honing the skills for the important project
All done with African mahogany scraps of trim I scrounged from work.

Converted a deer feeder into a fish feeder. Works great
