I made the mistake of taking down the taxidermy to paint the living room. Woman watches a you tube video about painting a room and now she is Bob f'ing Ross. We finished painting yesterday pissed off and ended today pissed off about where fish should go on the wall.

I wonder how all this quality time in the quarantine vise will have on our relationships with the ones we love.... I hope brings us all closer.

Keep this in mind we are at 2500 US deaths at present. That therapy combo is already being trialed (along with other drug therapies). Now juxtapose that with Govt leaders saying models are showing 80-150 US deaths...possibly higher...

Were still early on in this mess.

There is no more try and flatten the curve in NY, Detroit, Chicago and New Orleans we failed in those cities. Mitigation is what we are focusing on now in those cities.

What I want to know is are the people that took this for other reasons getting the virus? Because there is the real hope for the future, that it may prevent it all together.

Do not ignore personal responsibility for the spread as well. My inlaws wanted to drive over Saturday because they were bored. My FIL has lung issues he would die if he got sick. Hell no stay at home.

I think they failed in those cities, not "we". Hell, Cuomo didn't even want to close schools, imagine what would have happened had a lawsuit not been threatened. New Orleans and Mardi Gras, you'd probably know more about Detroit than I would, but the Governor hasn't been well received by many in her handling of it.

Add Chicago/Cook County to your list and you can blame JB Pritzker and his lack of a stay at home order.

After starting at the top, you czn then drop down to the citizens and the younger generation with their "it's not going to kill me if I get it" or "it's just the flu" attitudes.

Well for 3 months our leaders did not take this seriously, in fact, one said it would disappear like magic. One day we were told, yeah this is serious, so I am not shocked folks did not take it seriously. In Detroit, the bars were open on March 17th and packed.

The failings are across the board.

So watched the E-race yesterday, it was actually more watchable than I thought. I'll probably continue to watch. Seenbthey also had a Madden invitational but did not watch that.

Feel like we're slowly seeing Ready Player One come to fruition
