I won't disagree with that as far as stock holders and CEO's go. I ask how many Americans work for these cruise liners that could loose their jobs if some go under. How will this effect any of the U.S. airports, food suppliers. Now I'll never go on a cruise but I hear those that do consume a lot of food and drink. I'm thinking and please prove me wrong, they put more into the US economy than the Kennedy center or a couple of other Nancy pork chops.
That's what got us, Jan and Feb when we spread it around and had no idea. Would like to see how many were hospitalized with symptoms for those two months. I am 90% sure my son had in Feb, he had it all. Fever, cough, and shortness of breath. It took him 3 weeks before he was fully recovered. This county is a ghost town. About a half a million people give or take, 100,000 of which are school aged kids and one hardly sees any kid outside. I feel bad for the kids mostly.
That will not be happening any time soon. If we don't have enough tests to detect active cases, you have to know there are currently no serum tests out there to do this. It does need to happen so that the experts can model this virus. And that it mutates into a less virulent strain just like SARS-1.
I don’t remember where I seen that data but if my memory serves me it was around 20% are hospitalized and 20% of that group needs ICU level care. Of course it’s a moving target and I’m not sure we’ll ever know for sure.
