Lots of companies/corporations are laying people off. The gov't has made it easier than ever to get unemployment, get paid to stay home and be safe and not get exposed. Guess that is one way to see it. Obviously if you own a sports team you are very wealthy, however there is usually several companies that the owner has to feed that wealth and if those companies are taking a hit everything he owns is taking a hit. Oh sure he is worth millions but he is probably losing millions as well.
It's called capitalism he's only trying to keep what he has. I May not agree, but it's how the USA works.

This has been hard to except since the season was suspended. To me it’s just like the United States, I will always love my team, but question it’s leadership frequently.
There are plenty of POS capitalists. I’m not arguing that he is or isn’t one. You can still be a capitalist and lack that personality trait. Im not his book keeper but I’d be willing to bet that someone worth over 3 billion dollars could find a way to be there for his employees at least till this crap subsides. Idk maybe that’s why I’m broke?
