Good luck everyone, it's rough. I tested positive for it two days ago and died yesterday.

Here in pa all nonessential businesses are to halt operations. Carry out only in restaurants and gatherings of no more than 10 people. Bars closed. You’d think it is the end of the world at the grocery stores.

Bars and restaurants are still open in WI BUT, can only have 50 people in the place or 50% capacity-whichever is lower.

I can hold my breath a couple minutes or so-hopefully, the bar keep can fill my growler with my favorite microbrew in that time frame.

Seems like we're in for a bumpy couple of months. It's only a matter of time before all of these two-week shutdowns are extended. I would not be surprised at all if schools were done for this year.

CDC is reccomending 8 weeks for school shutdowns, JB has been following their guidlines peertt tightly.

Sota has said his wife, a teacher, was told schools would be closed beyond the current 2 weeks but has not been announced publicly, until he leaked it

If you want something to read

    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/downloads/considerations-for-school-closure.pdf

    Interesting read

"Available modeling data indicate that early, short to medium closures do not impact the epi curve of COVID-19 or available health care measures (e.g., hospitalizations). There may be some impact of much longer closures (8 weeks, 20 weeks) further into community spread, but that modeling also shows that other mitigation efforts (e.g., handwashing, home isolation) have more impact on both the spread of disease and health care measures. In other countries, those places who closed school (e.g., Hong Kong) have not had more success in reducing spread than those that did not (e.g., Singapore).":
