Many schools have been out since last Thursday due to flooded streets and roads. Our county has had almost its full month's rainfall in 9 days. I was hoping to be out scouting for turkey and deer by now. This will be on hold for a long time. Our yard is saturated, like walking on a wet sponge. As Linus (Peanuts character) said- Life is more exciting when you have something to look forward to. I can practice with a short indoor archery range to get ready!

We have gotten rain here in Raleigh, NC for 13 weeks straight. Ground is very saturated here too. It is dry enough to shoot, but not for doing much more than that.

It's so wet...a trapper set a coyote trap and caught a catfish.

Still frozen and snowing here... taking out the pay loader this morning to move snow. Fixed a water break on a main water line yesterday and there’s still 5ft of frost in the ground... spring is coming but it’s a slow miserable process here.
