So I went and got the front glass on my phone last week, the geek that fixed my phone suggested a screen protector. I took the geeks advice and now when I attempt the send a text half the time the damn letter I want will not work.

Sounds like an issue with the replacement screen instead of the screen protector. Usually the only letters that a screen protector causes issues with is the P & Q since they’re near the edges of the screen. A lot of those screen repair places use cheap Chinese aftermarket screens and it’s kind of luck of the draw whether you get a good one or a bad one.

    we're doomed as a species...

I never, ever watch local news. Ever. tonight my wife got control of the remote and put on the local NBC affiliate.
These are the first 3 topics covered (I am not bullshitting)

    1. Apparently there's an epidemic of college kids (mostly women) who go out barhopping in the winter wearing way too little clothes. It's very cold and if it's that cold and you wear a short skirt and a halter top you could get hypotherimia and in extreme cases EVEN DIE (they included the story of a heartbroken mother whose son got schwasted and passed out in a snowbank and died.) Moral of the story- wear a coat when it's cold out
    2. Mother calls 911 because she's out of breastmilk and she doesn't have or believe in using formula. This is her 4th child (not her first.)
    3. Food is dangerous. Thousands of people per year go to the hospital due to burns from hot food or cutting themselves while preparing it. Moral of the story- let pizza cool before you eat or carry it in a box; and don't try to use a sharp knife to separate frozen burger patties

So with all this computer crap and GM sending me e-mails Advanced Diagnostics about my truck telling me my right rear tire is down to 26 psi. No **** I have to put air in the tire every time the temps drop into single digits. How about sending me a e-mail about what is causing a rattle in my dash that drives me crazy.

A@@hats who plow snow across the roadway....and leave a huge pile in the road. Got this one character that left his pile at least 2 feet in the roadway. And I mean on the pavement-not the shoulder. It's about 30 feet long and about 8 foot tall and then about 10 feet deep. The snow plow had to go around it. So, of course there is even more snow in the road.

Did get a laugh though on Friday. The lady of the house was out with a shovel Friday just before dark...trying to shovel that load out of the road. LOL.

On Saturday, the pile was pushed back into the trees on the far side of the ditch. I guess the town had the pile moved. There were gouge marks in the trees. No pickup truck did that.

And 3 others that were going the same thing also had their backs pushed back. Hope the town charged them at least $100.

^^^ That's one of my pet peeves as well. Now I have speed bumps where they shouldn't be. If I wasn't in such a hurry I would plow it all back in their driveway.

Sadly, I would expect a bot to be smarter. You know, AI and that Skynet robots taking over scenario.

Everybody's driveway gets plowed in. It was worse when I lived in town and only had a snowblower to defend myself. You learn to move the snow to your right so your neighbor gets it. :)

Now days I use a large plow because I have a bar, a storage unit and my home that need to be plowed out. I don't plow anything across the street. I don't want the townships getting upset with me. I believe they could ticket you if they wanted to. If I do get some snow out into the road, I clean it up.

It is probably harder to do where you live. Around here the township will keep your driveway plowed for $80 for the season. For residents only, not commercial properties. If I had a residence in town I would never plow.
