This may belong in the rant. All the liberals who want medicare for all, free RX drugs, free college, free day care, and the rich are going to pay for it. Yeah you want to see billions taken out of the US economy and moved offshore keep it up comrade.
The fed government only gets money from one place to pay for all these wants... Taxpayers. I have yet to see the fed government demonstrating more efficiency with any program, other than their constitutionally appointed responsibilities...and if those that want these great 'free' benefits I suggest looking to move to a European country... They only pay like 50-70% in taxes. Student loans falls into this category...

This whole thing burns me big time, I payed back my loans. We planned for our kids and they worked jobs while in high school. Daughter went private to the tune of 30.00 a year for four years. She then paid for her own masters degree through hard work and loans ,she paid off. Our son went community and worked. Kept his grades up and his company paid his tuition, unrelated to the job he had. Thus we could help him own his own home at 21. So let me be clearly blunt on my opinion F all these cry babies, I and my kids owe you NOTHING
I owed ~150k for 4 yrs out of state tuition when I graduated. Took me 8 years but I paid it off despite starting a small business at the same time. Think I went 6 months on nothing but venison, duck, ramen noodles, and cold cuts (except for taking a customer to lunch from time to time). If they pass this college loan forgiveness nonsense then I will be demanding my refund for all the loans I paid off.

Yeah, we had one try to lecture us Saturday night bc we drove one of our collectable cars out to dinner. It's not that we did well financially, made sacrifices and sound decisions to be in a place that allowed us to buy it, we are just "greedy oppressors waving our flag of white privilege". This coming from a young white male drinking a Starbucks coffee and passing out Bernie fliers in front of a fine dining restaurant.
Not sure I would handle that very well. I would try to be courteous and not engage I would ignore him. If he blocked my path or insisted I listen to what he says or even comments on what I drive, the d-bag is getting both barrels and a stfu from me. I am nice till it is time to not be nice.
