I do use my brain. In fact, I use it so well that I am employed by a medical school and have access to a plethora of doctors, dietitians, and researchers of all kinds. After multiple conversations with many of these scientists and medical professionals, I am convinced that lab grown "meat" has no business being manufactured, much less consumed by humans. But, what do I know, I only live in this environment 40+ hours per week. Take your emotional tantrums somewhere else. The grown ups around here actually think for a living.

Certainly a city dwelling attitude. I do not get meat from a grocery store, all farm direct and I know the people raising the meat and doing the processing. There is meat available outside your own little world as well.

I just filled a freezer+ with meat made from plants. It's really quite delicious. [IMG]

I love when they make a complete whole of nothing but ground beef, best ground beef you can get.

This came from my buddies farm and he got patties instead of ground beef this time around. It's definitely heck of alot better than anything get at store. Only ended up with a third of everything and it still pretty much filled deep freeze.

So you’re not a professional, you just know some.
    “But...I know some people“. LOL!
    Son, we all know people.

Um.. I grew up working on a farm. I’ve eaten plenty of straight off the farm beef and pork.

And you, just like the other guy are not thinking big picture. Farm direct operations are not going to feed billions of people. Unless you want to go “Thanos” on the world, technology is needed.

Sorry I have bigger issues to concern myself rather than feeding the world.

Not sure why you would comment on my comment then.
Regardless, it’s a world economy. That’s why the farmers were hit hard by the trade war. So we are involved even if we don’t want to be.
