Bottomed out sight

I just bought a new bear bow and the guy at the shop had to move the peep sight and when I tried to sight it in its bottomed out and it's still 2in high any suggestions would be appreciated

 

I suggest you find another shop.

 

Had this happen. Move the nocking point. Same principle as an open sight on a firearm.

 

First I would get the bow tuned. Verifying nock , rest , and peep. Something is wrong.

 

Agreed. Check out the setup first. Arrow should sit level and be centered to the berger holes. What is the peep sight distance from the nock point?

 

I went and got it paper tuned and lowered the nock and rest to the center of the Berger hole but it's still very close to being bottomed out. Its 6 3/4 from center of peep to center of nock

 

I'm a lil irrated at that shop I was telling him that it came with two grips for this bow and there the rubber ones he gave me a plastic one that dont fit the bow

 

That's not a crazy distance but I would draw the bow with your eyes closed and anchor it and then open and see if the peep is below or above your sight line.

 

No, you don’t move the nocking point for sighting in. Moving the nocking point is for tuning.

What type sight? Possibly flipped the mount bracket upside down? Just spitballing here

You say you are “bottomed” out, but shooting high. You should be moving pin up if shooting high. If you can’t move pin up any further, then peep needs to go up. Either way, peep needs to move if maxed out on sight.
