Final days of the contest and the season are upon us. I was out of town for most of last week but didn’t miss much according to my cameras. Clothes are getting there final wash of the season. Hopefully be able to sneak out a few times this week. It’s been a fun ride fellas.

I received this picture last week from one of my cell cams. Needless to say I was a little concerned why those bucks were running across the field during the middle of the day. My cameras have not had any day light activity since then. Today I found out why. They started logging the property. Needless to say I’m disappointed but I will say I’m very thankful that they waited this long to start doing it. My season is basically over at this point. Yep, that's about it for this season guys. Actually, if the White River drops below 27 feet at Clarendon, AR I may still have a few trips left to Wattensaw WMA during February, but I may be finished for the season. Either way, it's been a lot of fun this year and I've had a great season. I have no idea how much time I spent sitting in a tree this year but it was a lot of time. Hey Carter,.... the next time I'm up in the Windsor area I'll let you know.
Definitely a great season guys!! Glad to be part of this team. Who knows, we may be on the same team again!! Chief and I've been on the same team before. Definitely Chief. It's not far from us at all!!!
