Trust me if I had the opportunity to have a tag for a doe or a second buck they would already be in the dirt
I called our game and fish department here in North Dakota and asked a couple questions, now they are looking into rewriting something. I asked why I could fill my rifle tag with my bow but when I draw a muzzleloader tag I can’t use my bow and they didn’t have an answer other than nobody has ever asked so they are looking into changing it for next year! If that’s the case my muzzleloader doe tag will be a second deer next year
I can shoot a buck but it must have at least 3 PTs on one side NOT counting the brow point And I'm hoping for a 100 inches or close to it I've hade 1 bucks that was legal and was in range, twice. But he was 65-70 inches. Not what I want. I may regret it, but not next year. Maybe if we were down a few pts. Lol I'm trying teammates Jan 20 end of season
All is good! We are still in the lead! It has been a lot of fun this year and I hope we can do it again next season! I’m really debating switching the way I hunt. Looking into a saddle setup and moving around a lot more. I should have done that this year but I didn’t. Trail cameras weren’t showing any deer I wanted and I wasn’t seeing good bucks from stand so my standards dropped. I enjoyed every minute of it but I could have done better. Next year is a new season and I’m going for broke. I want to finally top that 150” mark. My best buck fell just short at 148 and change. I have the land to do it, I just need to adapt better.
