Hey guys just wanted to see if anyone could give me a review on Rivers Edge ladder stands. I am from Georgia and strictly bow hunt and I have used lock on's for the last several years but have been toying with the idea of bow hunting out of a ladder next season. I have looked at a couple different companies and have found 2 made by Rivers Edge that I would be interested in if I go that route. One is the Lockdown 21 wide and the other is the Lockdown Bow Pro. The thing that made me look at them was the way you can secure the stand to the tree prior to going up it to finish connecting the last two top straps. I just wanted to try to get some fellow hunters opinions who may have use the brand or either of these two stands. Just curious on how comfortable they are, how well they are built, quality, and customer service. Thanks in advance.

Not sure of ones mentioned, but I have rivers edge, seem as good as any others I have.
This said, I do this on every one before setting and every other year.
I double spay EVERYTHING with Rustolium. Including ends of open tubing. BTW you can find end caps on Amazon. I pay close attention to the welds and screws.
Some of mine have been out 10 years. I just repainted one last sumner.
Armrest and a flip foot rest make a big difference in comfort for me

Make sure it has a comfortable seat. It make all the difference in the world ... Take it from a guy that has had his share of waffle a$$!
