To paraphrase is former employer : "Get serious, get a brain."

I respect Dudley and like Nock On...but I'll be honest, this is one of the reasons I struggle to ever listen to anyone's opinion when they have history of switching and claiming "x" is best...and then nope hold up next is best.

I will admit I get sponsorships, I get the business...but just don't make rave statements and claims nothing compares or such....only to then go else where and make the same claim. It is one reason I've appreciated BHOD, even they've switched sponsors and product lines before...most recent when they switched over to ScentLok, but there have been others. I don't remember any incredible or illogical claims made as to why the switch occurred, nor do I remember them ever making ridiculous claims for Scent Blocker (believe that is who it was) only to look like fools switching then. Whether it has been an intentional effort or not, just discussing products and highlighting what they deliver without claims is much more palatable.

Dudley was with Mathews before...then Hoyt....now rumor is PSE or Mathews again...all I know is sadly as much as I think Dudley is a good guy from the little indirect sources I've got, his opinion of bows will never be one I trust enough to let sway or lead me in any way.

Nobody but quiver sniffers care who shoots what and really believe endorsements are honest opinions.

    quiver sniffers LOL!

I'll admit I do listen if the person used the product long before any type of connection with the product....or has an incredibly long usage of it. Its sadly rare however, given the nature of the "business"

Owning PSE bows and having them registered, I got that mail as well.
But I have never been an early adopter, and let others find out about sales hits - or epic fails.

One of the best killing bows I ever had was a $150 bow with everything on it. Got it 2 years old. Reflex Excursion. It exterminated probably 30 deer.

I can honesty say that I join the ranks of having absolutely no idea who that guy is, but I'm sure his truck is plastered with stickers and now he is going to spend a lot of time having to peel them off and replace them with new ones.

    I disagree,
Even as he is leaving hoyt he is talking about how good of a product they have. Not to mention he was with hoyt for a long time. He left based on differing views in terms of his vision and the vision of the company. His other switches have been done in a very similar manner (there arent many others that i know of, only 1). Either way, I believe he made a great example of how to be a pro in the industry.

I don't care what he shoots, but I do wish I could shoot half as good as he does. The guy is a badass archer

I respect the view you have said, and I respect Dudley...however I will be curious to see if he starts speaking the "company lines" many do about how this bow is the absolute best, or no other bow is close...or other definitive statements...will be interesting.

I also guarantee, PSE offered more. He didn't go to PSE merely because he felt they were better. He is a very successful businessman and it would be dumb in many ways not to choose the best deal.

Whenever someone says it wasnt about the money, you can guarentee it was about the money.
