I'm going to set the alarm for the morning. Will let tonights model trends amd the radar in the morning decide. Left the 4 wheeler in the truck for now, if it looks like we're getting an inch of snow I'll probably toss the sled in the truck and be out in the morning.

Unfortunatley, was not planning on hunting this late in the season. Been quite a few years since I have been out in January so did not count on a couple tanks of gas for late season hunting.

I say it every year, but I'm shooting the first doe that offers a shot next year, rut be damned

Ok, so for you trail cam soakers, what non rechargeable batteries are the best and how long do they last? Energizer lithium max? I have a bunch of tenergy rechargeables but they're several uears old and do not trust them.

I have 3 Bushnells, 2 take 8 and one takes 12. Thinking about on the last hunt of the year putting them out on the south side of the property where no one hunts and letting them sit until Spring Turkey then swapping batteries(if needed) and cards out and letting them sit again until August/September when I'll hang stands and not have to worry about others and where they're hunting.

I use DURACELL AA's in my Covert and they have lasted 5 months now. I think some cams drain batteries more quickly than others though.

I will be back in the stand tomorrow morning! Long time coming! Supposed to be raining on and off and very overcast. Almost 60 degrees tomorrow, but hunting any chance I get from here on out!

Snow has trended way off. Unloaded the 4 wheeler. Rain dependent will try sometime next weekend, Sunday may be only day available off work.

17th-19th is a given. Already took it off.

Fat lady hasn't sung yet, hoping one meanders in front of the stand before she does
