    Basically it was the other night all over again. Does came to staging areas and the bucks were there. Does went back into the woods and the bucks worked their way down the ditch to the field edge towards the woods. I quite literally had the same shot I shot high on last week. I know I hit him in the chest area. I didn’t get pass through.
    There was a little blood around the broken arrow. Nothing crazy. I didn’t follow it at all. Just backed out. Eating some pizza.
    I have to work all day tomorrow so I will be heading back out in an hour or so to take up the trail.

    Just shot the biggest buck in my life about 15 minutes ago. 22 yards and I may have hit shoulder. Broadside. Arrow broke when he turned and ran so i know no passthrough. I'm not even down yet. I may have seen him go down but I cant really tell. Gonna give it some time before tracking

    Any experience on shoulder hits here?. Slick trick bh I'm about 30 yards from impact and still no blood. I may have to go get a bigger light. This headlamp ain't cutting it.

    Alright. Cant find blood. Backing out to get help and a better light. I felt good on the shot and I know generally where he ran but this is beginning to worry me. I even took an extra second to settle.
