my wife just got me a vest made by Ororo. she said it had excellent reviews online. anyone ever use one? she said it was expensive. it is machine washable an even has a coil in the collar. battery is very slim and shouldn't feel bulky at all. if you guys think they are junk then i'll have her return it. she has to send it back for the correct size anyway.

I don't know about that brand but I think that one is made in the USA. My wife bought me one that is called Cozihoma. Weird name I know but so far this thing works excellent. It is heated over my kidneys, upper back, and the collar. It gets so warm, I can't run it on high.

In the world of heated vests, Ororo is a pretty solid and trusted name.

On ororowear.com its $169 on sale for $99. Didn’t check what sizes though. A lot of times when a deal is that good it’s only small, med, or 3xl

she got an new one ordered since it might take time to get the other one returned. we didn't want to lose out on the sale price. now the waiting begins for the vest and my new asat blind. perfect timing for late season.

After wearing my Milwaukee a few times I should have got a size smaller than what I did. I will have to wear a tighter sweater over it to get it closer to my skin

I've been looking at options here. My two friends have the Pnuma and seem to like them. I think i'd like something that can use any aftermarket power source so I can buy a bigger single battery pack for all day sits. Also would like something that is pretty thin, no collar, etc so it fits under my other clothing better.

Using your own power source is the best idea. That way you can control more the way you want to use it. I purchased a 13,000 mAh battery for mine and so far, sitting 4-5 hours at a time, it has not ran out. I'm loving this thing so far.

Anyone aware if the Scentlok one will accept ANY external battery or is it unit specific?

I also am going to be getting one of these to try... i love that it accepts any battery with USB. I have a couple ANKER battery packs that last for a long time that I would use with this.... any idea when these vests will be coming out?? I do not recall seeing the date.

Not sure if anyone has suggested it but I was looking at some 2020 ATA footage and I think ScentLok came out with a heated vest this year. Not sure when it will be released for purchase but I am sure it will be before hunting season rolls back around
