    I agree. If it happens once, it will usually happen again. I hear of too many stories of how people are given a second chance, and it turns out badly. Best of luck with that situation.

    It's still muzzle loader season here in MI. Shot another doe tonight from the ground- super fun to do. Saw 9 does. It's been a rejuvenating season hunting from the ground with a gun and not limiting myself to tree stands. Every sit is a little different and I never know what to expect.

    Good Luck if you are out today. This morning would have been one of those rare great mornings to be out; 30 degrees, blue bird skies and rising barometric pressure with a north wind switching to south-west during the day. We do not get enough days like that this far south.

    If my schedule at work holds up I will be out this afternoon. I would really like to get another stand up. If I can get out early enough I might be in business. Otherwise I’m contemplating throwing together a ground blind and hunting on the ground. The bigger bucks have been very wary on their approach to the field. But I need to close the distance.

    Well I am back at it, set up about 200 yds back from the corn tonight on the trail I hope they are gonna use tonight. It’s a balmy 8 degrees out so I will update later.
