Gots about 7-8 pods chillin on a Dixie paper plate in the garage. No better windicator! Cotton wood seeds are ok too
I don't know if this is the exact one but I use double ended cable locks, to tie my harness off on when I'm up in the tree. They are sturdy and stable and I feel more at ease tied on to one of them and some strap or rope. You wrap it around the tree then run one end thru the other and pull it right. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Bike-Cab...MI3ILO07el5gIVEoeGCh1eQQX4EAQYEiABEgLw8vD_BwE
Only if you plan on packing an animal out of the mountains. Didn’t know if I’d use mine when I bought them, now won’t leave home without them. Get them now, they do take some getting used to.
Absolutely! Throw 80# in a pack and walk down a hill, or a stream with slick rocks, or a surprise as you're looking at a wallow, or across an avalanche chute... (Oddly specific, eh) Mine do double duty, for my shelter (blue one in the middle).
