I'm still using unscented soap and deodorant so my season isn't over yet. Plus I left my 4 wheeler at the hunting property as leverage that I have to go one more time regardless. Been a long time since I have hunted December/January
Hunted today in the snow. Nice going in without a headlight or anything. Nada, but not surprising with the wind and precip.

Unless something special occurs with the weather next weekend I have sat my final sit of the season. Not having any food sources available it's hard to justify late season hunting where I hunt. I turned down so many shots on does early on thinking I could take one after a buck. Bit me in the arse again. In no way can I call my season a failure, shooting my best buck, but I failed myself on packing the freezer. I'll have a 3 day weekend next week for season close, so who knows.
