Timing belts are worse - last time I replaced mine the new belt I got was missing the alignment/positioning mark for one of the camshafts. Didn’t realize it until I tried to put it on. Had to reinstall the old one and put everything back together so I could drive to the store and exchange it for one with all the marks. I was really lucky that the marks on the old one hadn’t worn off over the years. I will never buy another vehicle that uses a timing belt. I don’t understand why they would even use a belt for that function on a modern engine, it can’t be that much cheaper than a chain.

Yeah I had a 1968 scout, I ended up buying reproductions instead of trying to get those apart.

Driving home from thanksgiving at my dads tonight on the highway that borders my hunting property. I’ve got about 5 miles of Highway frontage and about halfway down I passed a dead buck on the side of the highway. Definitely leaving my property. I was going 65 and it’s eas dark so didn’t get a good look but definitely had a lot of antlers and looked pretty sizable. Gonna go back tomorrow and take a better look. Big time bummer even if he was small. Poor fella didn’t have a chance,. Hopefully it was at least a solid hit with a big vehicle so he didn’t have to lay there and suffer.

Pouring rain this morning and I dropped my rifle barrel first... Hunt over went straight home to clean it. Wonder what would have happened with that in the barrel IMG_20191128_071618486.jpeg

Pissed off went to the Dr yesterday my blood pressure has always been perfect, now it is borderline, my cholesterol has always been excellent now it is borderline. My weight has been the same for the last 5 years of records, my BMI says I am obese but I am not fat not even pudgy. just vey dense. Sucks to get old, I do not eat junk food, very little soda, I don't use salt or eat salty foods. Probably from all the restaurant food I eat when I travel.
