So after a few hundred shots now on the new bow I noticed that my peep does not line up straight on the string with the not drawn.. when I shoot, I can still see through the peep and shoot fine, but my question is, is this the start of some peep rotation? should the peep be straight on the string not drawn? See the peep is turned some at rest. IMG_1054.jpg

that is peep rotation, take it to the shop. Or twist it every time you shoot.

I understand.. there is always next year. sometimes things just don't seem to be right and trying to force it takes the fun out of it... Well, now you can set back and watch some good football!

My closest shop is 35 miles away. I'm retired so time isn't an issue. Plus, I can join my son for lunch.
sota, don't you just love neighbors? I live in a subdivision and have had some real winners. Take care.
A thought and advice from experienced BHers- how about the tube setup that automatically aligns the peep?

Turn your string a little, it may fix itself without the trip to the shop.

I don't like those.. they add a ton of weight to the string and once the stretching stops I can align it and it shouldn't move again.. actually, it probably is already done moving by now. just need to get it aligned again..

String stretch isnt " normal " a properly built string is pre stretched to the correct tension and for the proper duration so its then a stable platform.
After the first few shots which will rotate and settle the serving on the cams the string should stay put.

At this point everything you will do is a bandaid and the answer is get a correctly built set installed

These are Rogue Strings. They were custom made put them on the day I got the bow. They said they were pre stretched. And they may be, but I know nothing about the company. this was what the dealer uses on all his mathews bows. I never had this issue with Winner's Choice. Now, I will say that it really doesn't seem to block my view at full draw, yet. But I would say I have over 100 or so shots by now, I would think, if they are quality, there should be no more stretch.. but, like I said, I know nothing about Rogue Strings...

Then they should stand behind them and replace them.

I will call or get by the shop next week and let them look at it. For 130$, there should be no rotation in my opinion.

I was hoping they used winner's choice or ABB strings but he insisted these were quality strings... maybe mine are a bad set.. I just know that I have had winner's choice on several bows and never had this issue.
