    Yesterday afternoon/evening was my fourth sit in a row without even hearing a deer! So, you're not alone. Sometimes I question my sanity sitting there for hours on end and not seeing anything.

    In my particular case though, I'm just hoping for that sliver of a chance that I might see my "brow tine buck", just once more. There are very few deer, and fewer bucks, at all in my woods these days. The numbers keep getting worse each year. I'm happy just seeing a couple deer when I go out anymore. It's a shame.

    I feel your pain. Sunday afternoon was the first hunt this season when didn't see anything. For whatever reason, the deer just have not seemed to be moving the last few days. Hopefully, next weekend with break it back open.

    I'm checking in after several days' absence... currently on page 551. Will catch up and post anything worthwhile.
    Good news is I am heading to MI to hunt this weekend. Probably have the .35 and bow Saturday, then bow only Sunday.

    I had PT conferences the past 2 nights for work. I have today off, but heavy rain and strong winds have me staying indoors. Tomorrow morning...perfect wind for the big buck stand! The weather should break in the middle of the night and then I'll get in there real early. Hoping.

    I'm tellin' ya, I'll hunt in almost any wind speed, from a tree, but this $hit is crazy strong. I would have to sit out today if I was going to hunt. This wind is definitely a "stiff" breeze.
