Points were added to our score just not your name to the list.

Seen the big 8 from my trail camera pics yesterday evening with a doe. They hung around at 70yds for about 20 minutes, but wouldn't come any closer. They ended up working off down the ridge and out of sight. About an hour later the 8 I filmed last week came in to 35yds and I clipped a limb. Arrow went right under him completely missing. He just bounded once then slowly worked off in the direction of the big buck and doe. Going to try again here in a little bit at the same spot. If nothing happens I'll hit another spot at another piece of public.

Looks like it's there now? I see it at the end of our list.

Took down a few does during rifle season here in Mo. Saw quite a few up and coming bucks and there was a lot of shots around our farm. I'll be headed back out with the bow on Monday to see what comes around. I'll try to get another doe down to help out the team and my freezer.

Justin, I messaged Brad. He got back to me. Simple oversight. She's been added.
I need to get us a another buck! Even if only a 50 point buck.

Sorry for the delay. I’ve been swamped at work.

Had a couple bucks show up behind the house last 2 days. Gun season opens Monday so I’ll have to try to get it done quick if I’m going to. I’ll be out tomorrow and sat am and pm w bow

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Passed on a 2yo 8 around 945. Going to sit until around 2 and hopefully one of the bigger ones will come through.

I’m still at it, it’s been a tough week and a little woods therapy is in order. Fingers crossed I see some action.

Deer movement has been a little slow here over the past weekend. Seen a couple of small bucks, but nothing I'm after. Going after a black bear this week on a local WMA, but if a good buck shows up he'll get it. Still hard at it guys, but it's time for a mixup.

bow season over here. Sorry I could not contribute more than a doe this year. By far my worst bow season in the past 15 years! ugh...
I still may take the bow out a bit depending on the situation. We got hit with 20" of snow over the past 2 days. I hunted yesterday AM w/ shotgun for the first couple hours. Then went home and did snow clean up. Went to another spot at noon. 3/4 mile climb up mount in a foot of heavy snow at that point. It was brutal. I wound up shooting a goofy looking spike at 4pm during heavy snow and wind to end the day. My legs are jello between the hike in and the drag out through the field at the top of the mountain. May only be a spike and with the gun, but i am damn proud of this deer considering how my season has been going and the conditions I took him in.

It's all good - can't kill one every year! I know that pretty well myself.

I still have an IL buck tag in my pocket and the weather looks killer next Tuesday and Weds, so I'm going to try and sneak out to my lease both afternoons to hunt. 17 for the high on Tuesday and 12 on Wednesday. Lows both nights just above zero. I have to imagine that is going to push a few deer onto the food sources and I have about 2/3 acre and standing beans that hasn't been hunted in a month as well as a brassica plot that hasn't been sat all year. Hopefully, a couple of the better bucks can make it through the gun season this weekend and I'll get a crack at one next week. Only time will tell!

A good friend invited me to hunt with him on some private property this morning. It was a very slow start but that all changed quickly. Had a doe come into sight and I could hear grunting behind her. This guy came out pushing her right by me and he was right behind her. 20yd slightly quartering away. He piled up another 20yds away. Still got one buck tag left to fill.

Hell ya! Congrats! Im headed out this afternoon as well. Still have a buck tag to try to fill. Tough hunting in December after rifle season but it's worth a shot.
