Is my area ruined for a little while?

After climbing out of my stand yesterday morning, I did a little scouting down the field edge I was hunting. Walking about 75 yards down the edge, I come in the scene of a coyote massacre. Nice ten pointer was reduced to little more that the head and a skeleton. Can't say how it came to be there where it was wounded or whether it was a pack kill. Either way, don't much care how, I'm just disappointed that I hasn't had a chance to see that deer during shooting hours.

The question, as stated in the title, will this have an adverse effect on my property for a while or not.

    Any thoughts will be welcomed.

    Thanks!

I watched 3 different bucks, all under 3 yrs old, walk down a ravine near me to investigate a fresh carcass.
I had seen crows, hawks, and yotes tearing it up for an hour.

Not sure if the older wiser deer avoid the area but there it is.

After deer season, go coyote hunting. Good concealment, calling and marksmanship practice. A close friend does this to keep tuned up for hunting seasons.

deer run across other dead deer quite a bit.. and they have no idea how they die.. it's just a part of nature. now, I do remember one particular bow hunt years ago on opening day, I shot a small 6, he ran about 40 yards and dropped. about 30 mins or so later a much better buck came in and saw the dead deer, he freaked out and got out of there very fast. I guess he didn't like the sight of a fresh kill in his acorn flat!
