Congrats on the buck! I am hoping to hit it hard again this weekend and then I will be winding down my bow season to start shotgun and muzzloader hunting.
Well im hoping two of my hit list bucks are not showing on camera cause they are locked down on does...froze my hind end off yesterday afternoon and saw 16 deer in 3 hours! 3 small scrubby bucks doggin 2 does. The rest of the deer were does & yearlings. Impressive to watch, was like watching the cows come home! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

And I am happy to report Im ok & able to complain about it! Good luck team- in sleeping in tomorrow morning! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
GLAD YOU MADE IT THRU THAT DAY. I HOPE YOU GOT ALL THE BAD LUCK OUT AND NOW LET THE BEST OF LUCK IN. BOL ...AND BE SAFE !!
Had some good sits over the weekend. Passed on many younger bucks searching and chasing does and also passed on one of our 4yr old 6x6's that will be something special if he makes it to fall of 2020. Solid 155-160". My two main targets this fall have both been shot, the wide 10 was killed by neighbor and the tall heavy 10 was shot low by a lease guy and never recovered. Hoping he shows back up soon but not looking good. I've set my sights on a couple older bucks now that won't tape out super big but are solid bucks. This is one of my favorite weeks to hunt, with the majority of lock down completed and the older bucks back on their feet searching for late estrous does.
Well sitting tomorrow to try one last hurray before the long gun season starts...good luck all! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Those that have firearm season's coming up, can you not hunt with archery tackle? Ohio's firearms season opens Dec. 2nd and I'm really thinking about taking my bow this year. Our youth firearms season is this weekend and I'll be out Saturday evening and all day Sunday. Saturday morning I volunteered to take out a youth for their first hunt for a local nonprofit organization.
WI once gun season starts you can hunt with gun or any lesser weapon. Few years ago i should have taken my bow! Missed a huge buck at 17yds. I had never shot my rifle at that close if a range before & over thought the bullet path/drop etc. Lesson learned! Good luck team! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
We can use a bow during the rifle season in PA. I hope to fill my PA buck tag and also get a big fat doe. I see that my buck score was not added to our team 6 score. Do I need to do something? or does it take this long.
Had a newbie show up a few weeks back with only a few pics. New he was an old mature buck. Sat in a blind out of the wind Sunday evening in a big bottom and he showed up searching for does. He gave me a 35yd shot and I released. Felt that the shot was good, but bumped him after a few hundred yds tracking. Backed out and waited until morning. I'll get a tape on him in the next couple days and enter in scoring thread. Been a few years since I filled my buck tag with a bow. Feeling pretty good right now! Good luck to all
