If anyone here has seen this on another site,,Sorry...This was the buck that didn't bleed much. Why I am researching other broadheads. Was November 4th. Earliest I have taken a mature buck off my little 40 acres. I was also lucky enough to take a large doe a half hr before. Two deer to take care of in one morning. A struggle for me. I aint as young as I used to be. No 4 wheeler. Just me and a deer cart. the buck saw me move up in my 14 ft ladder stand. I had to position myself slowly. Had to shoot with my crossbow in mid air. He swung away from me at the shot. So,,hit opposite lung far back. One good lung meant he made it 100 yrds. I first thot 200 but pacing it more like 100. Not bad for the slick mag but so little blood coming thru a low exit wound. Very fat buck. Deer biologist said definite teeth of a 4 yr old buck. Big ole body. Not a booner rack,,but I am after meat and if a buck makes it past all my hunting neighbors for 4 years he is a Trophy!
